Mahtab at crossroads of life and death, loved ones in anxious waitMahtab Ahmed, a seventh grader of Milestone School and College, is fighting for his life under intensive care at the National Burn and Plastic Surgery Institute. His maternal uncle Mohibul Hasan Shamim said Mahtab, who sustained 70 percent burns, is on life support. Shamim said, “Rumours are swirling about my nephew’s death. On Monday afternoon, an Air Force fighter jet crashed on the Milestone School and College campus in Dhaka’s Diabari. The accident has claimed 29 lives until now, and 69 are undergoing treatment in different hospitals.
