Denise Edwards represented the country during the discussions with the European Member of Parliament (MEP) – Stephaney Bijoux, and the new MEP from Martinique Max Orville. MEP Stephaney Bijoux appreciated Dominica’s hard work to become climate-resilient nation and to promote eco-tourism. Moreover, Bijoux claimed that change of climate is a serious warning that will effect everyone regardless of creed or stature. Appreciations are earned by Dominica for supporting as well as empowering sustainable tourism and preserving its natural assets. The island nation of Dominica is making the right strides in its quest to become a climate-resilient nation.
