Rahul Dhir, Chief Executive Officer of London-based Tullow Oil has told on September 13 Bloomberg the military coup that took place late August in Gabon has not affected the company’s business operations. Tullow Oil Plc’s assets in the central African nation Gabon account for around a quarter of its crude production. Tullow Oil Plc produced about 12,800 barrels a day of oil from non-operated assets in the central African country, Bloomberg reports. “Everything has been business as usual, there’s been a number of cargo liftings,” Dhir told the agency in an interview. The coup came after the country’s independent Electoral body declared Bongo winner of August 26 elections.
