Arne Slot is taking over at Liverpool next seasonArne Slot has been criticised by Stephen Warnock for discussing the financial benefits Feyenoord could gain from his potential move to Liverpool, with the former Reds defender stating: "It lacked a little bit of class." Slot is currently the favourite to succeed Jurgen Klopp at Anfield, following Klopp's announcement in January that he would be stepping down at the end of the season. Despite other names such as Xabi Alonso, Roberto De Zerbi and Ruben Amorim being linked to the role, it appears that Slot is poised to take the helm at Liverpool. In expressing his ambition to manage Liverpool, Slot also discussed the potential compensation package Feyenoord might receive and its positive impact on Dutch football. This comment did not sit well with Warnock, who felt it showed a lack of class.
