The Chief of the General Staff of the Libyan Army, Salah Al-Din Al-Namroush, has met with the head of Security Sector Reform at the United Nations Support Mission in Libya (UNSMIL) to discuss ways to support the security track. The meeting addressed UN and international efforts aimed at unifying the military institution and enhancing border security. Al-Namroush reaffirmed his full support for these efforts and his commitment to continued cooperation to unify the army, within the framework of the security track and UN-sponsored dialogue initiatives.
