MONROVIA – The Women NGOs Secretariat of Liberia (WONGOSOL)wants the Coalition for Democratic Change(CDC) and the Unity Party (UP) to ensure peaceful run-off election in the country. Madam Yango made the statement over the weekend as Liberians are preparing to go to the poll on Tuesday for run-off election for the presidency. She stressed that WONGOSOL also commends the National Elections Commission and the Liberia Joint Security for a peaceful conduct of the October 10, 2023, General and Presidential Election. ” Thus, as we enthusiastically await the November 14, 2023, Run-off Election, we are calling on all Liberians most especially the women, to turnout in their mass to vote as they did on October 10, 2023″ She asserted. Madam Yango noted that the results of these elections determine the fate of Mama Liberia for the next six years and Liberia is all we have therefore let us have a peaceful run-off election.
