Liberia's former Vice President and Standard Bearer of the opposition Unity Party, Ambassador Joseph N. Boakai has named Nimba County Senator and Political Leader of the Movement for Reconstruction and Democracy Jeremiah Koung as his running mate in October 10 polls. "In my search for a running mate, I sought to find someone who would join me as a partner and build a dedicated team of leaders to rescue our country. Boakai said "let me assure you that the person I did not look for is a SINLESS ANGEL. Grand Bassa County Senator and Political Leader of Liberty Party, Nyonblee Karnga-Lawrence, All Liberian Party political leader Benino W. Urey and a critic of the George M. Weah-led Government and head of Council of Patriots that hosted the June 7 protest, Henry P. Costa did not show up at the naming program. Senator Prince Y. Johnson along with some of his party officials, Movement for Reconstruction and Democratic (MDR) and partisans attended the program.
