SEREMBAN: The father of national badminton player S. Kisona wants the police to investigate an individual who allegedly made a racist remark against his daughter in a Facebook post. Retired policeman A. Selvaduray, 61, said the remark had not only disparaged his daughter but the Indian community as well. Selvaduray, who lodged a police report on Monday (Oct 4), said he was at home on Oct 2 when he was told that a Facebook user had allegedly posted a racist remark against Kisona. The Facebook user, who is said to be a politician, had apparently taken it down later. Kisona is a member of the Malaysian badminton team which made it to the Sudirman Cup’s semi-finals on Oct 2.
