President William Ruto on Sunday announced that the deployment of Kenyan police to Haiti will take place in the next two weeks. Speaking at a church service in Nakuru, President Ruto reiterated the stance that Kenya will honour its commitments to restore peace in the Caribbean nation. Earlier on, the deployment featuring Kenyan 1,000 police officers and 2,500 from other nations had been halted to allow pre-deployment arrangements to be finalised.
