HULU SELANGOR: As polling day approaches for the Kuala Kubu Baharu by-election, Perikatan Nasional youth has claimed there are efforts to discourage Malay and Indian voters from casting their ballots. “We urge voters to immediately lodge police reports over actions that infringe your constitutional rights,” read a joint statement by PAS Youth vice-chief Muhammad Hanif Jamaluddin, Selangor PAS Youth chief Mohamed Sukri Omar, and Perikatan Youth machinery director Hilman Idham. At the same time, the movement also urged KKB voters, especially the youths, to come out in droves and vote on Saturday. “Let’s be together with the wind of change that is in KKB for the future and benefit of everyone,” the statement added. Perikatan Youth also reminded the electorate that voting is a right enshrined in the Federal Constitution.
