She married Donald W. Taylor in 1954, and together they raised four children and many dogs before his death inl995. Their children grew up in Buffalo, where Jane was an avid volunteer, giving her time to many causes including the hospital gift shop and her children's schools. Jane was an avid reader, interested in many diverse topics, but especially fascinated with Judaism. Jane was a staunch fan of CBC Radio, even getting a shortwave radio to keep it playing in the house the entire time they lived in Buffalo. She is also survived by nieces and nephews here and in the UK, and by her beloved and devoted Havanese, Lily.
