LOCAL and international technology experts are set to discuss the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on media and communication in the country. Titled "Exploring the Possibilities: The Future of AI in Communication and Media Education," the hybrid symposium, which will be held on Wednesday, June 28, at 12 n.n., will feature four experts. The webinar is set to discuss whether AI deepens the digital and social divide, the steps that need to be taken to integrate AI in media and communication education in the Philippines, and how AI can contribute to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. The webinar is the fourth of a series of discussions on the impact of AI on media and communication organized by PCS and TVUP, the University of the Philippines' Internet TV Network, dubbed "AI, naku! Understanding the Impact of Artificial Intelligence on Media and Communication Education."
