CAIRO – 26 January 2023: CEO of Indian renewable energy company ReNew Power Sumant Sinha affirmed that the Indian companies are willing to cooperate with Egypt in the field of renewable energy and green hydrogen production. He also affirmed that Indian companies are willing to cooperate with Egypt in such fields in light of Egypt’s richness in renewable energy resources, including wind and solar energy. Sinha stressed that the Egyptian renewable energy resources qualify the country to become among the largest producers of renewable energy in the world, enhancing the promising investment opportunities in this regard. The president affirmed that the green energy sector in the country enjoys unprecedented support from the state as one of its most important priorities. Earlier today, Sisi participated in India’s 74th Republic Day as chief guest as per an invitation by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and also held talks with Indian President Droupadi Murmu and Indian businessmen.
