A Kenyan woman who was lured to India with the promise of getting a better job was rescued by Indian Police on Friday after escaping from the preying hands of her traffickers. Following her getaway, police would rescue her in the streets of Chennai, a city located in the Southern part of India. In her explanation to authorities, the Kenyan woman explained that she was looking for a job to raise funds for her trip back to Kenya. In December, a Kenyan was arrested for luring fellow Kenyans to India promising them jobs only to sell them to different syndicates. Indian Police last year launched a crackdown on illegal sexual activities after an increase in adult content online.
