The Sh588milliom graft case facing former Kiambu County Chief Ferdinand Waititu, his wife Susan Wangari and others proceeds today for hearing. Anti-Corruption Magistrate Thomas Nzyuki found the accused persons had a case to answer and subsequently placed them on their defense. Waititu and the team are currently at the stage of defending themselves from the graft charges levelled against them. The court heard that when the politics of Tanga Tanga started, he was one of the major proponents in Kiambu. He further states that the graft case was levelled against him so that he could be hounded out of office.
