HÀ NỘI — The Hà Nội’s Department of Transport, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security's Administrative Management of Social Order Police Department and the Department of Information and Communications, will collaborate with driving training centres to deploy electronic authentication devices in the second quarter of 2024. Previously, Hà Nội implemented a comprehensive online public service for issuing and renewing driver's licenses to reduce time and costs for citizens. Thường said the number of online submissions has significantly increased, the public service software has been regularly improved and the utilisation of the comprehensive online public service has been updated. Statistics from the Việt Nam Road Administration show that Hà Nội has always been the leading locality nationwide in the task of issuing and renewing driving licenses using the comprehensive online public service. At present, all newly issued and renewed driving licenses have been digitised and updated in the national driving license database managed by the Việt Nam Road Administration.
