Transport authorities in Ho Chi Minh City are verifying the authenticity of a video showing a bus driver watching his phone while driving in District 5. The video, recorded and uploaded to social media by a passenger on the bus, started circulating on Thursday. In particular, the driver repeatedly watched a video on his phone on his left side while driving the bus on Phu Huu Street in District 5. A representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Management Center of Public Transport said the center had received a resident’s report of the case and would coordinate with relevant agencies to verify and handle it.
