On Ham Nghi Street, buildings are being cleaned and repainted as part of the city’s Tet preparations. At Turtle Lake, scaffolding and barges are in place for cleaning and repainting the tower and surroundings. Thuy, a local resident, says the makeover at Turtle Lake will bring a fresh, cleaner look for the holiday.
