Highlights from the New York City Marathon Kenya’s Hellen Obiri, Ethiopia’s Tamirat Tola are the winners

Tamirat Tola, the 32-year-old Ethiopian bronze medalist in the 10,000 meters at the 2016 Olympics, broke Geoffrey Mutai’s 12-year-old course record with a time of 2 hours, 4 minutes and 58 seconds, finishing just over two minutes ahead of Kenya’s Albert Korir and Ethiopia’s Shura Kitata.
