Football writer Henry Winter has joined Glasgow-based daily The Herald to cover this Saturday’s Glasgow derby between Celtic and Rangers. Henry, a former Football Writer of the Year, revealed last month he was being made redundant from his role of chief football writer at The Times after nine years of service. Speaking to The Herald, Henry, pictured, said: It’s always good to be associated with The Herald having done my student years in Edinburgh, you were the big sponsors and judges of the student awards then. One of the treats, as well as a night out in Glasgow, was being shown around the offices and the print side as well. Having Henry spend a few days in Glasgow more than hits the mark on that front.
