The Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) has forecast showers across the country over the next 24 hours, with heavy rain in four divisions. The BMD said most of the Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions, and many areas in the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, and Mymensingh divisions are expected to get temporary gusty winds and moderate rain or thunderstorms in the 24 hours from 9am on Tuesday. In addition, parts of the Barishal, Khulna, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions may experience moderately heavy to very heavy rain. In the 24 hours from 9am on Wednesday, most of the Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions and many parts of the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka and Mymensingh divisions are forecast to see temporary gusty winds and light to moderate rain and thundershowers. Parts of the Khulna, Barishal, Chattogram, and Sylhet divisions will also see moderately heavy to heavy rain.
