The youth tournament aligns with the objectives of preparing teams for the 2024 AFCON Under-20 qualifiers later this year. For the senior Harambee Stars team, the tournament in Malawi is pivotal as they look to fine-tune their strategies ahead of crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
