Hackett to unveil 'The Reason of Towns' exhibition in BirrOffaly Senator Pippa Hackett is set to unveil Irish Architecture Foundation’s touring exhibition 'The Reason of Towns' tomorrow (Thursday). 'The Reason of Towns' - an engaging and provocative new exhibition with architect Valerie Mulvin, on the tradition and future of the Irish town - will open on Thursday, August 1 in John’s Hall, Birr. Curated, commissioned and produced by the Irish Architecture Foundation and hosted in partnership with local arts and cultural organisations and venues, the exhibition features a series of immersive display ‘characters’. Participating in the photocall will be: Senator Pippa Hackett, Minister of State at the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine; Irish Architecture Foundation Director Emmett Scanlon; and architect Valerie Mulvin.
