From Tribune staff reportsTRUSSVILLE — Hewitt-Trussville High School students were sent back to class during a Valentine’s Day fundraiser on Friday that was sponsored by the Student Council. HTHS principal notified parents by email, updating them on the situation and explaining his decision. “I am writing to inform you that today during the Student Council Valentines Fundraiser we had a student have a medical related issue; that student is doing better at this time,” King wrote. It is our intention to reschedule the fundraiser for another date.”Trussville Fire and Rescue Chief Tim Shotts said his department responded to the incident to administer aid. The condition of the student is not known at this time.
