In the first game, Abdisa Jemal gave Adama City a sixth-minute lead, but Hembercho equalised six minutes later through Befikadu Asresehegn. BetKing Ethiopian Premier League fans were in for a treat at the Adama Science and Technology University Stadium on Sunday as eight goals were scored on a day which saw Adama City and Hambericho as well as Ethiopia Coffee and Bahir Dar City share the spoils. However, they were held to a 2-2 draw on Sunday by Bahir Dar City, who finished second last season. Ethiopia Coffee started the second half like a house on fire and shot ahead in the 47th minute with a goal by Biruk Beyene. Bahir Dar though equalised 20 minutes later as Fitsum Tilahun struck in the 67th minute to earn his side a draw.
