As I’m writing this we are less than 24 hours from the start of free agency. The Edmonton Oilers will need to sign at least five players, and likely more. All arrows point to Josh Manson returning to Anaheim, and the Ducks will be quite busy in free agency. However, the risk is once free agency opens, both the team and player can look for other options, and sometimes players end up missing out. If they can’t sign Kulak they have to look at other options and need an experienced D-man to start in second pair.
