Flattened buildings and streets lined with piles of rubble and debris can be seen in footage of the aftermath of airstrikes on the town in southern Lebanon that authorities say killed 15 civilians. Israel said the strikes were targeting Jalal Mustafa Hariri, Hezbollah’s commander of the Qana area, who it said it had killed. Hezbollah has not confirmed whether Hariri died, but Israel has killed several members of the militant group’s leadership, including Hassan Nasrallah, who was its longtime leader
