Follow the wacky path of Stars winger Evgenii Dadonov’s ricocheting, pinballing goal

When you’re hot, you’re hot. Dallas’ Evgenii Dadonov, a recently-acquired trade deadline pickup, was credited with breaking a scoreless tie in Seattle with a ricocheting, pinballing goal that took, as Stars’ broadcaster Razor Reaugh put it, a “daffy” path past Kraken goalie Martin Jones and into the back of the net. It was shortly followed by Jamie Benn, who put in his 28th of the year. Dallas finished the first period with a 2-1 lead, and eventually went on to a 5-2 win to complete a two-game sweep of the Seattle Kraken.
