President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi also congratulated people on Christmas, stressing that the country will never deviate from coexistence and belief in the national unity. “We will never deviate from coexistence and genuine belief in the unity of the homeland and human community,” the president stated. On Thursday, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly visited Pope Tawadros II, the head of Egypt’s Coptic Orthodox Church, to congratulate him on Christmas. During their meeting, Madbouly extended his wishes of continuous blessings and health to the pope and Egyptian Christians on this occasion. The services will be held on Friday night, the 6th of January, and led by Pope Tawadros II and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese.
