Fire trucks and firefighters from Sa Phatthana and Sa Simum subdistricts and Kamphaeng Saen municipality were dispatched to the scene to contain the blaze. Phichawee Sirisantidamrong, the manager of the garage, said a cordless drill battery had been left charging overnight. Shortly before the fire broke out, a loud sound resembling a battery explosion was heard.
