CAIRO – 15 August 2021: Egypt has embarked on mega solar energy production projects as part of its vision for 2030. - The economic feasibility of solar energy components and its price are very high all over the world. Hend Farrouh, director of the Solar Cell Systems Project at the Industrial Modernization Center, told Youm7 on Sunday that solar energy has great economic feasibility and maximizes the local component of projects. The minister said Egypt naturally has a great potential in solar energy because of its bright sun most of the year. Benban Solar Park in Aswan is the largest solar energy project in the world and is expected to generate up to 1,600 megawatts of energy upon completion.
