A BRTC bus has collided head-on with a three-wheeler passenger vehicle, locally called Mahindra, leaving three people, including a father and his son, dead and six others injured at Mymensingh’s Ishwarganj Upazila. Three of the injured were sent to Mymensingh Medical College in critical condition. Nasirul Islam, a bystander, said the Mahindra was overtaking an autorickshaw carrying passengers from Mymensingh to Ishwarganj when it crashed into an oncoming BRTC bus. The father and son died on the spot along with one other Mahindra passenger. OC Obaidur said Fire Service personnel recovered the bodies from the wreckage and sent them to the morgue.
