FAKE: These digital cards claiming Uhuru Kenyatta endorsed Jakaya Kikwete for AUC top job are fabricatedThe media outlets mentioned have termed the cards fake. The Standard digital card claims that “Uhuru Kenyatta says Jakaya Kikwete is the best candidate for AU Commission Chairperson”. The card stated that “Uhuru Kenyatta gives his full support to Jakaya Kikwete on AU Chairperson bid (Sic)”. Tuko social media manager Chris Oyier similarly denounced the digital card as inauthentic and flagged the digital card as fake on their official X account. “Uhuru drops Raila and back Jakaya Kikwete for AU position (Sic),” the People Daily digital card reported.
