Former minister and labour leader Shajahan Khan has been taken to Dhaka Medical College Hospital after falling ill during interrogation on Monday afternoon. He has been admitted to the Coronary Care Unit of the hospital for tests due to chest pain. Shajahan was previously brought to the hospital on Saturday night after feeling ill. Touqir Ahmed, a doctor assigned to the DMCH emergency room, said that he had been given an electrocardiogram, or ECG. Inspector Md Faruk, chief of the DMCH Police Outpost, said that doctors had decided to admit Shajahan to the hospital.
