Axum airport, in the Ethiopian Toigrè region, resumed commercial flights yesterday for the first time since the end of the conflict in November 2022. According to Ethiopian media reports, for the first time in three years a commercial flight landed at the airport yesterday Yohannes IV. A resumption of activities that comes after more than 6 months of restoration work started in December. The airport was destroyed at the end of 2020, at the beginning of the civil war.
