Embraer managed to close 35 orders for commercial aircraft in the 3rd quarter of 2023, the largest net increase since the 2nd quarter of 2021, when it had reached a total of 48 aircraft. Embraer’s smallest commercial plane also secured five orders from Nigeria’s Air Peace, and one aircraft was sold to an undisclosed customer. With the new orders, Embraer, the E-Jets family reached 2,058 aircraft sold. The backlog grew again after six months, reaching 291 aircraft pending delivery. The E195-E2 has 174 pending orders, the E175, 101 aircraft and the E190-E2, which has not been delivered since December, another 16 aircraft.
