Election possible before Ramadan if reforms, preparation completed, says press secretaryThe parliamentary elections could be held before the start of Ramadan next February if all necessary preparations and state reforms are completed in time, the Chief Advisor’s Press Secretary Shafiqul Alam has said. In a press briefing on Wednesday, Shafiqul outlined the recent developments around election preparations. Speaking at the Foreign Service Academy, he said: “The chief advisor has held a crucial meeting today. “The chief advisor issued several important directives [on Wednesday],” he noted.
