Eid al-Fitr films raked in excellent revenues on Friday, the first day of the holiday, as seven films made a total of LE 9.6 million. “Harley” came in first, achieving LE 5.1 million. In second place came “Ibn al-Hajj Ahmed,” starring Chico in his first lead role in cinema, achieving LE 1.4 million. In the third place came the movie “ba’d el-Shar,” starring Ali Rabie, with total revenues of LE 1.3 million. The film is written by Sherine Alaa, Mohamed Khader, Ahmed Shekou, Reem Maalifi, Mostafa Khedr and Rehab Nabil, directed by Mostafa Abu-Seif.
