CAIRO - 27 June 2020: The Health Ministry said Saturday night that 409 new coronavirus cases were detected, upping the total number of confirmed cases since the outbreak in the country began to 280,005. Egypt received on June 24, a consignment of 210,000 doses of Sputnik V anti-COVID-19 vaccine within a deal to acquire 10 million doses. Until present, the country got 2.2 million doses of those in addition to two million Sinopharm doses within a deal with China comprising 20 million doses. Furthermore, Egypt will produce 40 million doses annually of Sinovac and Sputnik V vaccines. The second consists of five million doses.
