The head of the Central Administration for Preventive Affairs at the Health and Population Ministry, Mohamed Abdel-Fattah assured that the Johnson & Johnson vaccine is readily available for those who wish to travel with a QR Code certificate. The government is eager to provide as many vaccines as possible, he added, especially for those wishing to travel abroad. And directives are in place to provide approved vaccines for countries that want specific vaccine, he said. The Health Ministry announced Monday that 261,600 doses of Johnson & Johnson vaccine had been received at Cairo International Airport, in cooperation with the African Union. This comes within the ministry’s plan to diversify and expand the provision of coronavirus vaccines, with future shipments of the vaccine to arrive successively soon.
