CAIRO - 28 May 2021: Egypt won the presidency of the Middle East Regional Committee of the World Tourism Organization at it next session. This was during the elections held during the 47th meeting of the committee, which is held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Dr. Khaled El-Enany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, thanked the members for electing Egypt to chair the regional committee for the Middle East. The Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities invited ministers who are members of the committee to Egypt in the 48th meeting of the committee. The Secretary-General also praised the World class event organized by Egypt, which is the Pharaohs’ Golden Parade.
