Elite Training Facility in Honour of Eddie ButlerWe are proud to announce the opening of the Eddie Butler Performance Centre – a new, high-performance training facility designed to support both student-athletes and the wider school community. Officially opening in September 2025, the Eddie Butler Centre stands as a tribute to the life and values of Eddie Butler, an alumnus of the School and celebrated broadcaster and rugby international. The facility includes a Performance Room for strength development, a Functional Room for conditioning and cardio training, and a dedicated Row Room to support the School’s long-standing rowing programme. The Eddie Butler Centre will play a central role in helping all students work towards their sporting and physical development goals. The Eddie Butler Performance Centre has already generated interest from the wider sporting world, with Dragons Rugby confirming a pre-season training camp at the site, reflecting the calibre and versatility of the new facility.
