Driver seriously injured after car rolls 100 metres down bank in Akaroa

Emergency services found one car rolled over a bank in Akaroa Sunday night. Police are returning to the scene of a single vehicle crash in Akaroa, to examine how one car ended up found 100 metres down a bank on Sunday night. One person has serious injuries after crashing their vehicle on Christchurch Akaroa Road near the Hill Top Cafe shortly before 9pm. They understood the car had rolled 100 metres down the bank. Fire and Emergency sent two crews from Little River and Akaroa to assist and left the scene just before 11pm.
