Political activist Kasmuel McOure on Thursday evaded arrest during the Nane Nane protests in Nairobi's Central Business District. Kasmuel has been one of the leading voices in demanding for accountability since the onset of Gen Z protests on June 18. "Nane Nane is going to be our final day in the streets. He said that protesters would treat any officer in civilian clothes deployed to disperse the youth as a goon. "If we see unidentified men in civilian clothing, riding in government vehicles, we shall treat them as robbers, we shall treat them as thieves, we shall treat them as colonisers," Kasmuel said.
