Kruger Inc. announced Wednesday that the Corner Brook Pulp and Paper mill will temporarily pause operations, starting Nov. 20. Jim Parsons is the mayor of Corner Brook. Gerry Byrne, a provincial cabinet minister and a longtime MHA for the Corner Brook area, said the government has been in communication with Kruger.
