Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi has asked leaders to stop dragging President William Ruto into local tribal politics. Mudavadi said Ruto has earned global recognition as a leader and made all efforts to unite Kenyans and should not be sabotaged by those interested in tribal politics. "As members of the Cabinet, we should be the ones helping the President to unite the country instead of propagating divisive talk," Mudavadi said. Ichung'wah said tribal politics was no longer acceptable in the country and leaders should not divide Kenyans along those lines. He called for respect among leaders saying they should stop name-calling and abusing each other because of selfish interests.
