Dhaka, 14 districts get new deputy commissionersThe government has assigned new deputy commissioners (DCs) to fifteen districts, including Dhaka. On Saturday night, the Ministry of Public Administration issued orders transferring six DCs to other districts and assigning nine officials of Upazila secretary rank as DCs in nine districts. New district administrators have been assigned to Dhaka, Gazipur, Noakhali, Habiganj, Gaibandha, Barguna, Bogura, Sirajganj, Magura, Pirojpur, Satkhira, Bagerhat, Khulna, Kushtia and Bhola.
