We regret to announce the passing of Mr. Henry Peeu Walker on October 7th, 2021, at the home of his daughter in Columbus, Ohio (USA). Henry P. Walker, as he was commonly called, was born on June 15th, 1934, in Middletown Maryland County. Mr. Walker attended Saint Francis High School in Pleebo and graduated from Martha Tubman Memorial High School in Monrovia. Upon his return to Liberia, Mr. Henry P. Walker was appointed as the Commissioner of Income Tax during President William R. Tolbert’s administration. Mr. Henry P. Walker is predeceased by 1 child, survived by 6 children and 20 grandchildren.
