Danielle Smith, Alberta Premier, Takes Time to Wash Dishes at Her Restaurant

Alberta Premier Danielle Smith is not just a politician, but a business owner as well. Smith and her husband David Moretta, a former Global Television executive, opened The Dining Car in 2018. It was converted to a dining car for the Montreal World’s Fair in 1967 and restored by a team of volunteers for restaurant use in 1989. The restaurant, which specializes in diner food, also has a garden at the back producing vegetables and herbs for the kitchen. The Dining Car is rating 4.5 out of 5 in user-submitted reviews on Google, with atmospheres, the train car itself, and the ‘eggs benny’ being the favorites among customers.
