The Dallas Stars traded forward Fredrik Olofsson’s rights to the Colorado Avalanche on Thursday for future considerations, the team announcedOlofsson, 27, recorded four points (1 goal, 3 assists) in 28 regular season games with Dallas last season, and made his NHL debut on Dec. 27 at Nashville. He tallied his first NHL goal four nights later against San Jose, which also marked his first career game-winning goal. Back in net: Dallas also announced the club re-signed goaltender Matt Murray to a one-year, two-way contract for next season. Murray, 25, appeared in three games last season, and made his NHL debut on March 2. In his first full professional season, Murray posted a 18-10-5 record in 34 games for the Texas Stars, Dallas’ AHL affiliate.
